Training Program
"Then He appointed twelve, that they might be with Him and that He might send them out to preach..." Mark3:14
TEL Philippines conducts intensive training programs from time to time for the purpose of training and sending out full-time public evangelists, Gospel teams and disicple-makers into the harvest. TEL graduates now serve in a variety of denominations and mission groups, many in leadership positions.
Training Philosophy
TEL Training Programs revolve around the "With Him" principle. Jesus called a few chosen men to Himself so that as they lived, learned, traveled and ministered together their lives would be transformed. In the same way, TEL Training programs are a full-time live-in course like an extended family.

Why Live-in?
Jesus trained his men by calling them to be with Him, and that He might send them out to preach (Mark 3:14).
Being "with Him" was foundational to His training. Jesus trained His men in Heart (character), Head (knowledge), and Hands (skill). While it is possible to pass on knowledge and develop skill through other methodologies, the heart of a disciple is only developed through close contact with the discipler. It is our aim not just to produce skilled workers, but men with a passion for God, a passion for His Word, and a passion for souls.
Each trainee receives individual attention to help him develop lifelong habits in daily devotions, regular personal Bible study, and fruitful witnessing and follow-up. Living together like an extended family also maximizes one-to-one contact and enables the molding of character by example, encouragement, and accountability. The deep relationships formed result in greater effectiveness in team ministry. Personal and cultural differences in this blended family environment become tools in God's hands to mold each one's character.

Training the:
HEAD - through Biblical and theological classroom training with challenging assignments
HEART - through personal discipleship, cross-culturally blended living and learning environments, individual accountability, and close association
HANDS- through practical instruction in ministry skills and ministry together in evangelism and discipleship. Trainees receive instruction and experience in preaching, teaching, leading Bibles study groups, one-to-one discipleship ministry, and creative arts, as well as organizing and leading evangelistic campaigns.
FEET- trainees are trained IN the Great commission rather than FOR the Great Commission. On the job learning is the centerpiece of the training.
