Mobile Gospel Team

The TEL mobile Gospel team exists to serve churches and church-planting movements to reach their area for Christ through all forms of evangelistic outreach. Our teams specialize in holding crusades and meetings in public venues such as assembly halls, schools, and the open air to reach those who may never enter a church building.

Every program includes a clear presentation of the Gospel through preaching, invitation and counseling. We supply our own sound system, lights, projector and generator.

We travel to reach places where local churches need us. Our teams have helped churches from Cagayan Valley (Northern Luzon) to Cagayan de Oro City, Mindanao.

METHODS:

The team emphasizes the 3 aspects of public evangelism: preparation, proclamation, and preservation.

PREPARATION – The Key to effective evangelism is that it becomes a natural part of the lifestyle of each believer. One of the primary aims of the team is to train individuals in personal witnessing and assist them to have a positive initial experience. Sharing your faith with an interested seeker is an exciting experience. Seeing God use you to draw men and women into relationship with Himself is thrilling. Three to four training sessions are conducted in the church to equip and encourage members in evangelism and follow-up. The counseling that each seeker receives is the most important part of the event. As church members learn to share their faith effectively, the impact of the outreach far outlasts the event itself.

PROCLAMATION - The team combines with the local church to use various creative methods in their program to attract and keep crowds and to communicate the gospel such as:

PRESERVATION - After the crusades, team members assist with initial follow-up by joining with local church members to visit seekers in their homes and help establish follow-up Bible studies. The Bible studies and visitation are then continued by local members. In this way, new believers are linked with the local church. Simple materials and training are also available.
